As the Assistant Vitamin/HBA Manager, you have a role in helping customers make healthy choices by providing excellent customer service through managing and leading one of the busiest teams in our store. You will assist in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit, responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Vitamin/HBA team. You will effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork. Your role includes ensuring that customers receive the best possible service and assistance with vitamins, supplements, and health and beauty products to help them better understand and respond to their health and wellness issues. You will maintain an in-depth knowledge of vitamins, supplements, and other health and body items in the department, providing guidance on supplements, health and beauty, and related products without 'prescribing'. Additionally, you will assist in recruiting, hiring, developing, mentoring, and motivating the Vitamin team, unload and sort through store deliveries, and ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations.
