About The Position

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to lead incident management, problem management, change management, troubleshooting, deployment, code release, maintenance, and support for critical applications. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent and five (5) years of experience preparing technical specifications and providing solutions to complex applications, system stability, network and database related issues impacting production environment; performing troubleshooting, code investigation, test plans, monitoring batches using various set of complex tools and technologies; using relational databases, including Oracle procedures and performance tuning, and interacting with programmers to identify and resolve technical issues; working on data analysis and Perl/Shell scripts for application monitoring; working on bug reporting/tracking and documentation; coordinating and executing production rollout; maintaining a controlled large-scale production technology environment, validated by auditors and regulators; notifying of any discrepancies in the health during production and automation restoration, with a focus on continuous measurement of risk and cost; providing effective technical solutions, application support to operations team, and fixing issues efficiently; conducting incident, problem and change management; writing various test plans, monitoring critical batches, and applying quick technology fixes to run the business without disruptions; and utilizing programming languages, tools, and working with Client lifecycle management workflow including Java, UNIX, Perl, Spring boot, RESTful API, JSON, Tibco MQ/JMS, Kafka, Fabric, Node JS, OpenShift, Geneos active Console, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Tableau, IntelliJ, Hue, HIVE, Impala, JIRA, GitHub, Bitbucket, Swagger, Postman, PuTTY, Splunk, Team City, and Jenkins. Employer will accept three (3) years of academic study toward a bachelor's degree in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of related professional experience to satisfy the bachelor’s degree requirement. Salary range: $142,100.00 – $165,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
