WSP USA is looking for a transit-focused planning professional based in South Florida who has strong technical skills in data-driven analysis, multimodal network planning, and transportation systems. This person will play a key role in leading and supporting transit-centric projects by managing project teams, incorporating regulatory requirements, and delivering high-quality, forward-thinking transit solutions to enhance Miami-Dade and Broward County’s transit network and initiatives. Candidates will be working on tasks for transit projects and studies including data collection, research, and documentation contributing to the development of statewide, regional, and corridor plans, transit plans and studies, multi-modal feasibility studies, rail studies, BRT studies, and other analyses. Candidate should have a strong written and presentation communication skills and experience with public meetings. The successful candidate must be a team player and demonstrate strong research, analytical, communication, collaboration, and technical skills. Knowledge of the following a plus: Equity planning for transit corridor projects Transit Planning for BRT projects Project lead for public involvement Familiar with FTA CIG process Best practices in multimodal transportation planning analyses Experience with Florida Department of Transportation PD&E process Federal and state regulations and funding programs related to transit projects Emerging trends in the transit planning space Demonstrated leadership and management skills
