About the position

Will elicit and document system requirements from clients for modifications to the LifePRO system. Contribute LifePRO knowledge to accurately assess system functionality and requirements. Provide business analysis skills throughout the project life-cycle. Closely interact with business users, senior stakeholders, other development teams, support teams, infrastructure teams and project teams to ensure projects and services are delivered on schedule with high quality. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for new products, enhancements, or system changes. Ensure alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Collaborate with Development and system Subject Matter Experts for the creation of development tasks. Participate in testing activities to validate system changes and ensure that they meet business requirements and quality standards. Collaborate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to identify and resolve defects in a timely manner. Replicate scenarios for proof of concept to uncover system functionality gaps. Support Development and Quality Assurance efforts as needed. Perform Quality Assurance testing for modifications as needed. Recreate incidents for debugging efforts. Complete remote and onsite client consulting for system functionality. Support internal projects and sales initiatives as needed. Identify opportunities to streamline and improve business processes related to life insurance and annuity products. Analyze workflows, data flows, and system interactions to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Develop training materials and documentation to support end users in understanding new products, processes, or system changes. Conduct training sessions as needed to ensure smooth implementation and adoption. Telecommuting permitted. May work at various and unanticipated worksites throughout the United States.

Requirements

  • Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Electronics/electrical engineering or a computer/IT related field.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Software Developer or a related occupation.
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in writing business requirement and functional specification documents for the Life and Health Insurance and Annuity domain.
  • Five (5) years of experience with Conversion, Implementation, Third Party Administration (TPA), Production Support and Product Enhancement in the Insurance domain.
  • Five (5) years of experience in business requirement and gap analysis using Prototyping, Workflow diagrams (VSD), and Requirement Traceability Matrix.
  • Five (5) years of experience in transforming legacy systems to new digital models using web based solutions and microservices.
  • Five (5) years of experience in Risk management strategy using SWOT Matrix.
  • Five (5) years of experience in QA testing using Selenium, Test Partner, JIRA, QTP, Test Director, Soap UI, Postman, AutoSys, FTP, Test Complete, or OATS methodology.
  • Five (5) years of experience using VSD, Selenium, Test Complete or Test API to analyze workflows, data flows, and system interactions.
  • Five (5) years of experience in project models using Agile, Waterfall or RAD.
