About The Position

The Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank is responsible for analyzing complex software production issues, implementing bug fixes, and developing a robust information security framework for software applications. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent.
• Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in software development and automation.
• Experience in developing, documenting, and revising software design procedures and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Unix and Python scripting, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring platforms like ITRS Geneos.
• Knowledge of incident management tools such as Service Now.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous analysis of complex software production issues.
• Feedback bug fixes into application backlog for future sprints and releases.
• Build a robust information security framework around the software application.
• Develop, document, and revise software design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
• Track manual tasks and identify means of automation.
• Maintain and monitor payment software application processing corporate bank payments through the ITRS Geneos monitoring platform.
• Install software applications including ElasticSearch, Kafka, Zookeeper, and Hadoop.
• Deploy software applications to process payment data being received in the application systems.
• Perform automation to streamline operations and reduce manual toil using Unix and Python scripting, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Establish and maintain disaster recovery (DR) plans and processes to ensure business continuity.
• Monitor, alert, and implement incident management tools including Service Now.
• Investigate root causes of incidents and troubleshoot issues using SQL database and Unix scripts.

Benefits

• Salary range: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00/year.
