Assistant Vice President: Software Engineer

The Software Engineer position is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities include ensuring that software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements, and that solutions are well-designed with built-in maintainability, ease of integration, and testing from the outset. The role requires a strong knowledge of industry-standard development and testing practices, as well as design and architectural patterns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, Engineering (any), or related field
- 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation
- 5 years of experience in designing, automating, and maintaining large scale, enterprise-wide web applications using Java, Angular, Camunda, Spring Boot, and Node
- 5 years of experience in utilizing customer UI and interaction techniques to build frictionless multiple factor user authentication, credential maintenance and authentication step up flows in digital channels
- 5 years of experience in engineering and designing continuous integration, continuous deployment, build tool, version control, and test-driven development tools by utilizing Java and JavaScript
- 5 years of experience in designing test driven automation frameworks using middleware technologies including SOAPUI, REST, XML, and JSON
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for integration, regression, and performance testing
- Develop and deliver complex requirements to achieve business goals
- Ensure software meets all functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
- Create well-architected solutions with built-in maintainability, ease of integration, and testing from the outset
- Apply strong proficiency in industry-standard development and testing practices
- Utilize established design and architectural patterns
- Work as a full stack Java developer with hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, Camunda, Angular and Microservices API development
- Propose alternative solutions when facing product challenges
- Analyze information to plan and recommend the installation of new systems or modifications to existing ones
- Assess user needs and software requirements to evaluate feasibility within time and cost constraints
- Coordinate the installation of software systems
- Participate in software system testing, validation procedures, programming, and documentation
- Modify existing software to resolve issues and improve performance
