The Assistant Vice President Project Management manages Corporate Real Estate and Space Management projects that are complex in nature from conception through completion to include scope, time and cost. Being an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Project Management is a high-stakes balancing act. You aren’t just managing buildings; you are managing the intersection of capital, strategy, and people. In this role, your "product" is the successful delivery and communication of physical space that enables the business (various divisions) to grow and execute on their business.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Technology Management, Project Management or related field required
  • A minimum of 7 plus years of project management experience in related field and 5 plus years managing a staff
  • Project management skills, including the ability to execute and prioritize a number of tasks/work streams simultaneously is required
  • Must have experience establishing, running or significantly changing a project based team
  • Excellent conflict resolution, persuasion and negotiation skills and strong problem solving skills required
  • Experience managing organizational change and/or process improvement projects required
  • Expert in the use of project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, enterprise project management applications and templates)
  • Must be an advanced experienced user of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Establish and implement project management processes and methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards and meet (internal) customer expectations
  • Coordinate and report on status and stability of multiple projects, progress and outcomes of work efforts
  • Ensure key project objectives, requirements, planning schedules, and cost estimates are established
  • Manage and report on changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
