About The Position

The Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Operations and Risk Management at NextGear Capital will lead various teams focused on client experience, records, titles, and service operations. This role is pivotal in achieving performance targets, developing team members, and aligning with the organizational strategic vision. The AVP will set strategies, influence organizational culture, and ensure a client-centric approach while collaborating across Cox Automotive entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 14 years' experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years' experience in a management or leadership role.
  • Experience in Production and Service Environments.
  • Automobile field experience required.
  • Experience managing concurrent large scope projects with strong planning and execution skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with all levels of management and team members.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Negotiation skills to deal with public and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Flooring Department to ensure accuracy in flooring requirements and exceed performance metrics.
  • Manage the Risk and Recovery department focusing on pre-default risk mitigation and post-default collection efforts.
  • Develop and drive organizational strategy by identifying records and title management advancement opportunities.
  • Determine appropriate quality metrics and ensure they are achieved.
  • Partner with external dealers, auctions, and third-party companies to drive key performance metrics.
  • Align Client Experience team business processes with Cox Automotive entities and maintain cross-collaboration.
  • Lead special projects to increase organizational effectiveness by clarifying issues and priorities.
  • Collaborate with Technology development teams to meet software and hardware needs.
  • Responsible for budgeting and financials for departments.
  • Hire, train, develop, and retain the leadership team staff.
  • Implement an operational plan for the department with appropriate structures and timelines.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction standards are maintained.
  • Build and lead teams to accomplish tasks within strict deadlines.
  • Anticipate and respond to changing business needs, serving as a change advocate.
  • Develop and drive the employee engagement strategy.
