About The Position
The Assistant Vice President, Fixed Income Analyst position at NLGIA in Manhattan, NY, is a full-time role that involves analyzing and recommending investment-grade and high-yield corporate bonds to outperform defined market benchmarks. The successful candidate will conduct fundamental credit analysis with a strong emphasis on financial modeling to identify profitable corporate bonds for the portfolio. This role requires the creation of in-depth earnings reports that include financial projections, credit valuation, and recommendations based on expected performance. The analyst will present detailed and persuasive company reports to Portfolio Managers (PMs) while reviewing potential investment ideas and consulting with management on proposed investment strategies. In addition to these responsibilities, the analyst will liaise with industry sources to capture and develop new investment ideas, proactively collecting and interpreting market information. The role also involves fostering the development of global views across teams located in Tokyo, providing thorough and timely research to secondary audiences abroad. Miscellaneous duties may be assigned as needed, making adaptability and a proactive approach essential for success in this position.
