About The Position

The position involves overseeing daily operations across multiple CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of SOF GLSS contract deliverables. The role requires the development and implementation of operational strategies that align with USSOCOM objectives and lifecycle sustainment goals. Compliance with DoD regulations, FAR/DFARS, and USSOCOM-specific directives is essential. The candidate will lead cross-functional teams to optimize logistics, maintenance, and supply chain performance, monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and cost efficiency, and collaborate with program leadership, government stakeholders, and subcontractors to resolve operational challenges. Additionally, the role supports audit readiness, government surveillance activities, and contract reporting requirements, while also mentoring and developing site leads and operational managers to ensure consistent execution and accountability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in operations leadership, with at least 5 years supporting DoD or federal contracts.
  • Strong understanding of sustainment operations, performance-based logistics, and government compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and operational reporting platforms.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Familiarity with DCMA protocols and government audit standards
  • Certified Professional Logistician (CPL) or equivalent
