As Assistant Valet Manager, you will help lead all aspects of our valet parking operations and guest services. You will work closely with the Valet Manager to ensure a seamless experience for every guest while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • A valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Flexible schedule to work all shifts, including weekends. Punctuality and excellent attendance are a must.
  • Strong English skills (reading, writing, and speaking) to effectively interact with guests, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to maintain a neat, clean appearance and follow all grooming and uniform standards.
  • Basic math and bookkeeping knowledge. Strong common sense and the ability to make sound judgments under pressure.

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of service-related management experience (Hotel or Valet experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to manage a team and provide coaching/training.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or Valet Parking software.
  • Bilingual skills are a huge asset, especially Spanish.
  • A college degree in Hospitality, Hotel, or Restaurant Management is a plus.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission/stick shift is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Oversee Associates: Ensure all team members greet and assist guests in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Training & Coaching: Assist the Valet Manager in maintaining proper staffing levels and providing ongoing training to the team.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed by the valet staff at all times.
  • Facility Oversight: Responsible for the smooth daily functioning of the valet parking facility.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate parking logistics for special events and foresee any impact they may have on property operations.
  • Revenue & Rates: Assist in overseeing parking services and rate management.
  • Satisfaction: Build strong relationships with clients and guests to ensure all requests are met.
  • Problem Solving: Closely monitor and resolve issues related to associates, operations, loss prevention, or guest concerns.
  • Brand Ambassador: Maintain and promote the culture and philosophy of Metrpolois / SP+ Hospitality in every interaction.
