We are currently seeking an Assistant Unit Manager who has a passion for providing the highest quality care in an institutional, secure setting. The Assistant Unit Manager assists in the supervision of staff assigned to the unit and oversees unit programs. They directly supervises staff assigned to the unit and may serve as Acting Unit Manager in the absence of Unit Manager. They will perform liaison functions throughout the facility by attending a variety of administrative meetings, which links the unit to the total facility operation. Additionally, the role provides for the unit to be fully staffed and monitors the manner in which manpower resources are expended in the unit. Lastly, they will monitor and assess the unit's progress with an emphasis on remedying any deficiencies.
