Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Some experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

• Effective organizational skills with the ability to work with multiple interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Bind and set up policies.
• Make and return calls to customers and companies and assist with account service issues.
• Manage daily workflows and meet service standards.
• Identify accounts for non-renewal and provide background support to the department.
• Quote renewal business based on company underwriting guidelines and rates.
• Evaluate and quote or decline new business for specific classes by reviewing submissions, applications, websites, and loss runs.
• Maintain underwriting knowledge by attending underwriter training meetings.
