About The Position

Nautilus Insurance Group is seeking motivated candidates for our June 2026 EDGE program. As an Assistant Underwriter Trainee, you are a new graduate who is driven and has a foundation in insurance, risk management, or general business. Our extensive, six-month program offers classroom and practical instruction for candidates pursuing a career in property and casualty underwriting. This unique opportunity is dedicated just for you to learn about insurance and the art of underwriting. Training includes formal classroom and on-the-job training, as well as specific project work, field trips, and mentorship with highly skilled members of our underwriting teams. Through this training, you will learn to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills as you manage work items. You will gain a strong understanding of the core concepts of insurance and risk management and build valuable connections with industry leaders and fellow trainees. While in the EDGE Program, participants attain the Associate in Insurance (AINS) designation from The Institutes.
