All My Sons Moving & Storage is seeking an Assistant Transportation Operations Manager to join our team in Sarasota, FL. This is a full-time managerial position that serves as a training ground for future Operations Managers, with 60% of our current Operations Managers having started as Assistant Managers. The role involves leading the operations of the branch, which includes planning, scheduling, dispatching, and monitoring quality assurance throughout the moving process. You will be responsible for hiring and retaining the right crew members, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT regulations, and supporting and motivating salespeople to achieve their targets. Additionally, you will play a key role in growing our online reputation on platforms like Google and Facebook, meeting monthly revenue and profit projections, and controlling operational costs through effective P&L management. As an Assistant Operations Manager, you will be expected to have a customer-centric mindset, focusing on delivering the best moving experience possible. This position requires a commitment to company-paid training, which lasts six weeks and takes place out-of-state. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience leading and managing others, along with the ability to become DOT vehicle certified. You will also need to pass a pre-employment background and drug screening process. This role offers a competitive salary ranging from $56,000 to $75,000 per year, which includes a monthly percentage of branch profit, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.
