About The Position
The position requires a knowledgeable individual in track who will work closely with the head coach. Effective communication skills are essential for this role. Previous high school track experience is preferred, and candidates must provide two letters of recommendation. Additionally, fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice is mandatory, along with tuberculosis testing every four years. Candidates must possess several certifications including the CIF Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate, Concussion in Sports Certificate, Sudden Cardiac Arrest Certificate, Heat Illness Prevention, and CPR/First Aid Certification. Some of these certifications will be provided through a District Platform if the candidate is offered the position, while CPR and First Aid can be completed online.
