Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • At least three years of work experience as an Executive Assistant or serving in a similar role in a professional office setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the school's strategic plan, collaborating with the Dean, staff, and faculty leaders to identify and advance strategic priorities.
  • Manage the Dean's daily workflow, including scheduling, keeping the Dean informed of important messages, events, and tasks.
  • Ensure the timely preparation and submission of reports, including school reports, P-Card processing logs, and other documentation.
  • Actively support and coordinate the school's fundraising initiatives and events.
  • Work independently and collaboratively to enhance operational and organizational effectiveness; streamline staff development and evaluation processes.
  • Provide guidance on academic policies, including promotions, tenure, sabbaticals, faculty hiring, and conflicts of interest.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for departments engaging with the Dean's office.
  • Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate class schedules with school departments and maintain the master schedule, liaising with the Registrar's office.
  • Respond to inquiries from faculty, students, and stakeholders with professionalism and discretion.
  • Apply project management principles to oversee special projects, ensuring timely completion and progress reporting.
  • Represent the Dean on various advisory boards.
  • Maintain and update website content and social media, ensuring seamless online presence.
  • Maintain personnel files and collaborate with Academic Affairs and other university units.
