About The Position

Assistant to Systems/Network Administrator - Essential Duties And Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned. Installs all computers and devices, provides maintenance and connects them to the network. Troubleshoots malfunctioning hardware and software using efficient problem solving techniques in a timely manner. Responsible for setup and scheduling of equipment as needed. Configures technology hardware and software on new and existing equipment. Keeps software current on the equipment and devices. Monitors, answers, and updates all help desk requests. Responsible for new user login, set up and termination of user accounts. Responsible for relocation of all computer equipment with proper notice. Attends meetings, conferences, workshops and seminars for technology. Follows state guidelines, keeping informed of changes. Promotes good public relations for the school district and community. Provide "as needed" employee training on equipment and software. Responsible for requistions of supplies/hardware and keeping inventory as needed. Manages and updates corporation website, social media, floor plans, and organizational charts as needed.

Requirements

  • Associates degress, college or university or equivalent experience and training.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with administration, teachers, students, and parents.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University or equivalent experience.
