About The Position

This individual will provide administrative support to the Human Resources Director on all personnel matters, assist with record keeping, respond to candidates, onboard employees, and assist with human resources daily tasks and programs.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Human Resource Management Business and/or Human Resource Experience
  • Exhibit a consistent Christian testimony (Galatians 5:22-23)
  • Personal relationship with Jesus Christ (John 3, Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • Participates in a local Bible-believing church
  • Applies biblical solutions to problems
  • Personal integrity and self-motivation in the fulfillment of WCA mission
  • Preserves confidentiality within professional responsibilities
  • Ability to be flexible and multi-task
  • Ability to compile and develop reports
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal, conflict management, and organizational skills
  • Must possess the following qualities: discretion, maturity, and flexibility
  • Strong Google and Microsoft Office Suite skills and good keyboarding speed and accuracy
  • Must conduct professionalism and self-motivation
  • Positive attitude and poise under pressure
  • Practical written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Director of Human Resources
  • Exhibit respectful, pleasant, and professional attitudes and conduct
  • Demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5) in personal and professional activities
  • Assist when needed in processing references and background checks
  • Arrange and maintain records for WCA policies and employee training
  • Arrange and provide benefit packages to employees as needed
  • Assist with recordkeeping & file maintenance for human resources, including daily routine tasks for employee files, wellness, medical, dental, HSA, retirement, etc.
  • Assist with maintaining the WCA bus drivers and WCA CDL drivers as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining the school's Payroll/HR management system
  • Maintain filing in the HR department
  • Assist with maintaining the School Substitute Program System and Online Safety Training System for WCA employees & substitutes.
  • Assist in processing onboarding for new employees
  • Send responses to employment candidates
  • Prepare materials needed for employment and benefits administration
  • Assist when needed in preparing or conducting exit interviews with exiting employees
  • Updates the school’s employment website as needed
  • Assist with updating the employee handbook and policies
  • Maintains confidentiality with any information you may be privileged to learn (i.e., Students, their families, other employees, school business, etc.)
  • Attends school-wide meetings and department meetings as required
  • Ability to grow in the position - The enthusiasm for learning and willingness to learn
