About The Position

Join the leadership team at one of our high-volume passenger transportation hubs on the East Coast. As an Assistant Terminal Manager, you will be a key architect of our daily success, bridging the gap between strategic planning and real-time execution. This is a high-visibility role reporting directly to the General Manager, designed for a logistics professional who thrives in a fast-paced, "live" operational environment and is ready to lead a diverse team.

Requirements

3+ years of leadership experience in passenger transportation.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
Proven ability to assess logistics plans, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
Exceptional verbal and written skills; ability to interface with both front-line staff and executive leadership.
Willing to work weekends or extended hours based on operational needs, while the standard schedule is Monday–Friday.

Nice To Haves

Solid understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and OSHA safety standards is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage daily terminal flow, ensuring the highest standards of safety and on-time performance for our charter, commuter services, and university student transportation services.
Analyze charter itineraries and schedules to ensure optimal resource allocation while maintaining strict compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Act as the central nervous system of the terminal, fostering teamwork between dispatch, maintenance, sales, and customer service teams.
Monitor dispatch efficiency and provide real-time feedback and coaching to the operations team to drive continuous improvement.
Lead with a "people-first" mindset, managing employee relations and navigating operational challenges with a calm, decisive attitude.
