About The Position

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Technician for our Assembly - Finish Paint department at our facility in Arab, AL (35016). In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. If you have a passion for hands-on work and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities Assist in the assembly of components and products in the Finish Paint department. Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming. Apply paint and finishes according to specifications and quality standards. Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency. Report any issues or discrepancies to the lead technician promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with one year of experience in painting in a manufacturing enviornment is required.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of painting techniques and materials.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
• You should be proficient in: Troubleshooting Skills Tape Measure Reading Blueprint Reading
• Machines & technologies you'll use: Paint Sprayer

Nice To Haves

• Technical training is a plus.
