About The Position

The Assistant Tech Designer will support the Accessories Design team during all stages of the design process across the following categories: Men’s and Women’s Outlet bags, small leather goods, belts, caps and softs as well as Full Price Men’s and Women’s Caps and Softs.

Requirements

• Experience in fashion design or a related field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and partners.
• Proficiency in design software and tools.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with PLM systems.
• Experience in accessories design.
• Knowledge of color theory and fabric properties.

Responsibilities

• Work with the design team to create and manage the style numbers in CFT shared doc and transfer to linesheets.
• Work with Design to create and maintain the bags, belts, slg, caps and softs linesheets at each stage of the design process in Miro.
• Partner with Design, Merch and PD to pass off accurate and up-to-date linesheets to India PDA team.
• Partner with the design team to support and facilitate the creation of color cads for necessary Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs.
• Manage and facilitate the Centric/PLM data input and uploading for all Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs.
• Partner with Design to help create and manage the corrections specs for Outlet Bags, Belts, Slgs, Caps and Softs.
• Partner with Design and Studio Manager to facilitate the creation and/or uploading of images for Prana.
• Work with the Design and Merch teams to create the visual change document outlining all visual changes related to the SMS samples.
• Help maintain standards for detail execution and construction as defined by Design.
• Support design maintain daily communication with our PD partners in New York and Asia.
• Keep sample closets, material storage and presentations spaces organized and orderly.
• Assist designers with various tasks as needed, including meeting note taking during Proto 1, CPV and SMS sample reviews.
