ASSISTANT TECH DESIGNER

Disguise is on the lookout for an experienced, energetic, and self-motivated Temp- Assistant Tech Designer to join our dynamic team. Description: Assistant Tech Designer will support the Technical Design Team by assisting with tasks related to garment fit & specifications, sample prep for fit sessions, and communication with factories.
Requirements
- Technical Design knowledge- Basic understanding of garment fit & construction, ability to measure samples quickly and accurately
- Detail oriented & organized- Ability to identify & record discrepancies between the sample and tech pack
- Creative problem solving
- Basic research skills
- Excellent communication skills
- MS Office- Excel, Word, Teams, Email, PLM, are all used daily
- AI/Photoshop
Nice To Haves
- Associates degree in fashion preferred
Responsibilities
- Tech Pack support- researching design reference styles, locating related tech packs, patterns & samples.
- Sourcing preparation- taking pictures of samples & collecting samples, patterns, pattern cards, strike offs etc…
- Assist in fit sessions- measuring samples, recording discrepancies, preparing/sending fit session recaps.
- Tracking production patterns & tech packs- communicating with factories & updating files
