Montclair State University, Department of Biology, offers an exciting opportunity for a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor of Biology starting September 2025. The Department of Biology offers a dynamic and inclusive academic environment dedicated to fostering innovation, creativity, and excellence in undergraduate education. We seek a dedicated educator who will demonstrate a strong commitment to undergraduate education and demonstrate excellence in teaching at the University level. The successful candidate will bring experience managing and coordinating multi-section courses and labs, such as Anatomy and Physiology and Principles of Biology. This position requires teaching courses across multiple modalities to meet the diverse needs of our students. The successful candidate will also take a leadership role in coordinating and standardizing multi-section courses and labs to maintain consistency and quality across the curriculum. In addition, the successful candidate will actively engage in professional development, curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary program development, and will mentor students. The position is a two-year, ten-month, non-tenure track appointment, with eligibility for reappointment based on established NTTP procedures.
