The Department of Mathematics at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor starting August 2026. Duties include teaching twenty-four semester credit hours per academic year along with service in support of departmental goals in undergraduate education. This position will be responsible for teaching a minimum of 12 credit hours (two sections) per year of MATH 1030, College Algebra with Supplemental Instruction. Applications must include a letter of application/a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a teaching statement, and three letters of recommendation, at least two highlighting teaching. The teaching statement should detail the experience in teaching mathematics courses, including a brief description of the courses taught, and discuss any innovative teaching approaches, if applicable. Requirements

  • A master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field is required. The degree must be awarded by the start of the appointment.

Nice To Haves
