CTI's Head Start Early Learning Program is seeking full-time Assistant Teachers for Infant, Toddler, and Preschool. All Assistant Teachers must have a minimum of an Associate of Applied Science degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field. The starting pay for this position is $20.04 per hour. The role requires flexibility in working hours, as hired scheduled hours may change from time to time, with a requirement to be available between 6:30 am and 5:30 pm. As an Assistant Teacher, you will facilitate and support children's participation in experiences and activities of the planned curriculum. You will interact with children and their families, as well as Family Services Workers, to support their development and learning. Your responsibilities will include supporting the implementation of guidance strategies used in the program, implementing health, safety, and nutritional plans for individual children, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to Early Education, including Head Start Performance Standards, NAEYC Accreditation, and MA Department of Early Education and Care regulations. You will also be responsible for protecting the rights of children and families from abuse and neglect by acting as a liaison between referred families and the Department of Children & Families.
