As an Assistant Teacher at Scottsdale Child Care & Learning Center, Inc., you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing and educational environment for children. Our center is dedicated to meeting the social, physical, emotional, and intellectual needs of every child in our care. We believe that each child is a precious being deserving of love and support, and our mission is to provide a safe, healthy, and creative atmosphere that encourages their development. Our classrooms are organized by age and ability, accommodating infants through Kindergarten, ensuring that each child receives the appropriate level of care and education. In this position, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an engaging environment that offers choices and variety tailored to the developmental potential of the children. You will prepare weekly lesson plans and assist in the development and implementation of parent involvement strategies. Maintaining a progress file for each child and conducting parent conferences will also be part of your responsibilities. You will attend staff meetings and training sessions to enhance your skills and contribute positively to the team. As a loving role model, you will ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and security of the classroom, including toys, equipment, restrooms, playgrounds, and the children themselves. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about childcare and eager to learn.
