Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, camp, or nanny role preferred.
Positive, reliable, flexible, and team-oriented.

Nice To Haves

Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is a plus.
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom activities and routines.
Assist with implementing The Learning Experience curriculum in a fun, age-appropriate way.
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Engage with children through play, conversation, and exploration.
Communicate positively and professionally with children, families, and teammates.
Help with classroom organization, cleaning, meal/snack time, diapering and/or toileting (as age-appropriate).
Ensure compliance with all New York childcare licensing standards.
