Lutheran Social Services of South Dakota (LSS) is hiring Assistant Teachers (age 18+) for our after-school programs serving K–5 students in Sioux Falls! Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Valid driver’s license (or ability to obtain one) and active auto insurance
  • Must meet licensing requirements: no substantiated child abuse/neglect reports and no felony within the last 5 years
  • Successful completion of all agency background checks
  • A genuine desire to help kids learn and grow!

Responsibilities

  • Lead fun, pre-planned activities for K–5 students
  • Build positive relationships with children and parents
  • Ensure a safe, caring environment
  • Assist with light cleaning and daily routines
  • Collaborate with co-workers and follow program guidelines
