About The Position
Exciting opportunity to gain experience in the teaching and mental health fields! In Briarcliff, NY, Day Treatment Center is seeking interested individual to work as teaching assistant (TA) in our therapeutic classrooms. The position is a unique opportunity to work with emotionally disturbed children in a therapeutic, educational setting that integrates mental health treatment into the school day. We have a low student to teacher ratio (3:1), and our classes are small and self-contained. Our school is a not-for-profit program dedicated to providing quality therapeutic education. We are seeking caring, versatile, hard-working individuals to become part of our team. Working in person is required. Immediate openings available.
