Children's Garden Montessori, part of the Cadence Education family, is currently seeking an Assistant Montessori Teacher to bring your love of children and past experience in childcare, daycare or early childhood education to our team of kind, caring Teachers and staff. Requirements

• Minimum Required: CDA or Associate's Degree, or some college coursework.
• At least 18 years of age.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development).

Responsibilities

• Play a supporting role in the classroom under the direction of trained Montessori teachers and work amongst a team of teachers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy classroom environment in accordance with Montessori philosophy.
• Provide basic care and active supervision of young children as needed.
• Engage in positive redirection to children and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Communicate with parents as needed on routine matters regarding the health and care of students.
