About The Position

At TLE, Assistant Teachers are nurturing guides who help create joyful, engaging environments where children learn, play, and grow. You’ll be part of a supportive team that values curiosity, collaboration, and compassion—all while helping children reach their full potential.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
• 6+ months of experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available).
• Must meet all state childcare licensing requirements.
• Passion for helping children learn and grow in a positive environment.

Nice To Haves

• Coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers in implementing The Learning Experience®’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inspiring classroom environment.
• Foster children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
• Communicate positively with families and co-teachers.
• Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
• Step into various age groups (Infants, Toddlers, Preschool) as needed.
• Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and enthusiasm every day!
