About The Position
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School is hiring an Assistant Teacher to assist the Aftercare Director in ensuring the safety, well-being, and supervision of the children attending the St. Catherine of Siena School Aftercare Program.
Requirements
- All applicants must be VIRTUS trained in order to work with children at St. Catherine of Siena School.
- (Training opportunities are provided by the Diocese of Bridgeport.)
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with children is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting students with homework
- Playing games and engaging children in meaningful activities
- Reading stories
- Preparing snacks
- Supporting children in practicing good hygiene
