About The Position

The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria. This position is for an Assistant Teacher in Early Care and Education, requiring the candidate to possess or be eligible to obtain a valid Assistant Teacher Permit. The role involves working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, and experience in these areas is preferred. The vacancy is for 186 days, with 8-hour workdays, located in Lompoc, CA.

Requirements

• Possession of or eligible to obtain a valid Assistant Teacher, Early Care and Education Permit
• Experience and/or training appropriate to fulfill requirements of the position
• Infant/toddler/preschool training and experience preferred
