Our aquatics facility serves as a central hub of activities, where members gather to relax and enjoy the season together. The aquatics team plays an essential role in creating this experience fostering a welcoming, safe, and fun environment for members of all ages. Position Overview: The Assistant Swim Team Coach works with the Head Coach to support the Waynesborough Wahoos Swim Team. This role focuses on fostering a positive, team-oriented environment while helping swimmers of all ages strengthen skills, build confidence, and have fun.
Requirements
- Previous coaching or competitive swimming experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- CPR and First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily practices and swim team instruction
- Support meet-day operations, swimmer lineups, and parent communication
- Help create a fun, encouraging environment for all participants
- Ensure safe practice habits and proper technique
- Represent the Club in a professional and positive manner
