The Granite YMCA is looking for a passionate and dedicated Swim Team Coach to join our swim team at the YMCA Allard Center of Goffstown location. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young swimmers by fostering their development and helping them achieve their personal goals in a supportive and positive environment. Requirements

• Experience in competitive swimming or coaching
• Passion for working with youth swimmers
• Ability to provide personalized feedback and support

Nice To Haves

• Background in competitive swimming
• Experience in coaching youth sports

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate regular swim practices for youth swimmers, with varying abilities and experience levels
• Coach swimmers with personalized feedback to develop their technique, stamina, and competitive skills
• Assist with practice and meet setup, ensuring a safe and organized environment
• Support and attend swim meets, contributing to positive team experiences
• Help determine swimmers’ events for meet entries, based on their strengths and goals
• Maintain a positive and encouraging environment that promotes a love of swimming and healthy competition
