About The Position
Want to make an impact every day? Then we want to meet you! Assistant Aquatic Educators at Small Fish Big Fish Swim School will be responsible for conducting swim lessons for multiple clients of different ages and skill levels. Aquatic Educators may sometimes be asked to perform ad hoc business-related duties.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a minimum of two days, Monday - Wednesday, from 2:30 pm - 8:30 pm and a minimum of one weekend day, Saturday or Sunday, from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.
- At least 1year experience working with kids or Swim Instruction, Education, and/or Aquatics.
Responsibilities
- Organize and instruct individual students and small groups in swim lessons and aquatic safety. This includes babies and me, preschool aquatics, and six levels of learn-to-swim courses (guppies, minnows, goldfish, barracudas, dolphins, sharks).
- Lift and maneuver students to educate them on proper technique throughout the lesson.
- Follow Small Fish Big Fish methods and techniques for daily instruction.
- Act as a company spokesperson at community events by educating potential clients and community members on water safety and drowning prevention.
