About The Position

This position is for a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) within the federal system, specifically located in Rosebud, SD. Requirements

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited school.
• Passed the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners (NBPME) or the American Podiatric Medical Licensing Examination (APMLE).
• A full, current, and unrestricted license to practice podiatric medicine in a relevant jurisdiction.
• One or more full years of experience in the practice of podiatry equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.

Responsibilities

• Perform surgical repair of bone fractures, soft tissue injuries, congenital and structural deformities, and infections involving the foot, ankle, and leg.
• Review past medical history and request or perform diagnostic tests and examinations as necessary.
• Diagnose, direct, prescribe, or provide treatment, and arrange for specialized care or hospitalization.
• Educate patients on their illnesses and treatments, including follow-up care.
