About The Position

This position is for a Custodial Worker in Red Lake, MN, under the Federal Wage System (FWS). Candidates must demonstrate sufficient experience and/or education to perform the duties of the position. Experience can include both paid and unpaid work, including volunteer work through National Service programs such as the Peace Corps and AmeriCorps. Applicants will be evaluated based on their knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job duties, and must clearly identify their responsibilities and total hours worked in their resume. Requirements

• At least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level in the Federal service.
• Experience performing routine janitorial and custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine janitorial and custodial work such as sweeping, scrubbing, and waxing floors.
• Wash windows and walls.
• Dust and polish furniture and fixtures.
• Empty waste cans.
• Use powered equipment such as power scrubbers and buffers.
