Busch Gardens Williamsburg is looking for an Ambassador Services Assistant Supervisor to help us make sure that our Ambassadors stand out and are easily spotted across a huge crowd so that our guests can confidently reach out. We support both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA’s uniform needs. The Assistant Supervisor reports to the Supervisor of Ambassador services, working together to help serve our guests as well as representing our park culture, making great first impressions on our Ambassadors. What you get to do: As an Assistant Supervisor, Ambassador Services, you’ll assist with oversight of the Ambassador Services daily operations. You will welcome new Ambassadors to the Busch Gardens and Water Country USA team and make sure they’re ready to hit the ground (or water) running on their first day. This involves monitoring uniform inventory, assisting with ambassador events, and coordinating the team’s participation in uniform distribution. You will also: Assist in the daily operation of Ambassador Services to include uniform issuance and ambassador perks Receive, sort, and stock new items utilizing our inventory management system Assist with inventory management to include stock counts, requisition requests Monitor weekly schedules and break schedules of team Coach/development, and motivate ambassadors Assist with hiring and training of team. Initiate positive interactions with internal and external guests Maintain a clean, safe and informed work environment Wash and inspect uniforms for damages Other general administrative duties as needed and other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have a working knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Must have guest service experience.
  • Must have supply chain management, or inventory management, experience.
  • Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast-paced work environment
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to push/pull 35 pounds
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Must be able to work indoors/outdoors with or without A/C for entire shift
  • Must be available to work varying shifts/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Comfortable with heights and climbing ladders

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience leading teams is preferred
  • Sewing skills are a plus
