About The Position
Monterey Peninsula Country Club (MPCC) is a premier golf club located in Pebble Beach, California, dedicated to providing exceptional golf experiences for our members and guests. We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in assisting the Golf Course Superintendent with the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course, ensuring that it is presented in the best possible condition at all times. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in golf course maintenance, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. As the Assistant Golf Course Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining equipment, and overseeing daily maintenance activities. You will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities such as fertilization, pest control, and irrigation, as well as programming and maintaining the irrigation system to operate at the most efficient level possible. Communication with golf professionals regarding course conditions, maintenance plans, and scheduled events will also be a key part of your role.
