About The Position

Lee Company provides core construction services of HVAC, plumbing and electrical for large and small commercial projects throughout Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky. The Assistant Superintendent assists the Project Superintendent in planning, directing and coordinating the daily activities for all Mechanical trades on large construction projects. This role holds ultimate responsibility for project safety, meeting the construction schedule, and labor productivity. The Assistant Superintendent will also direct and coordinate onsite personnel and subcontractors in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Virtual Construction practices as well as 3D Models, Spooling and Fabrication
  • Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other applications as needed
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage large projects and lead team members and individuals
  • Ability to creatively develop and design solutions
  • Good customer service skills and effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage people and on-going change
  • Good attention to detail with emphasis on quality
  • Good planning and organizational skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Employees will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility at the time of hire

Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Superintendent in planning, directing and coordinating the daily activities for all Mechanical trades on large construction projects
