About The Position

Axiom Builders is looking for an Assistant Superintendent for our 26-story tower in the heart of Nashville. This is the first tower of a multi-phase, skyline changing project. You will join the team in the early phases as we are currently below grade and moving fast! This is a great opportunity to build a unique project which combines residential, commercial, and recreational spaces into a vibrant urban community.

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in residential construction, ideally as an Assistant Superintendent or Superintendent on a high-rise
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
Familiarity with construction management software and project documentation tools like Procore and Bluebeam
Basic understanding of construction methods, safety standards, and quality control
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

OSHA certification or equivalent safety training is preferred

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in overseeing daily construction operations and managing on-site activities, initially focused on the concrete structure
Coordinate with subcontractors and construction crews to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
Help manage project schedules, materials, and resources efficiently
Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for review
Address any on-site issues promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions
Support the implementation of safety protocols and best practices throughout the construction process
