About The Position

Assistant Superintendent Position Summary As an Assistant Superintendent , you will support the Superintendent in coordinating the daily operations of the construction site. This role requires excellent organizational, communication, and technical skills to ensure work is executed efficiently, safely, and in alignment with LKCo’s high standards. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Administration & Planning Assist with field office setup, site logistics, utilities, and control plans. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Develop and maintain daily/weekly logistics and schedule access plans. Participate in developing project-specific schedules and milestone tracking. Assist with submittal tracking, drawing review, and ensuring contract scope alignment. Daily Operations Support the Superintendent in supervising site activities and labor coordination. Maintain daily reports covering labor, activities, delays, weather, deliveries, and safety issues. Monitor construction progress using digital tools and field reports. Attend and document project meetings; ensure accurate meeting minutes and follow-ups. Technology & Documentation Use project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Office, Bluebeam). Track RFI submissions and understand their potential cost/schedule implications. Assist with closeout documentation and occupancy/move-in processes. Permitting & Compliance Assist in preparing and submitting permit documentation. Monitor inspection schedules and ensure readiness for code compliance reviews. Financial & Subcontractor Support Understand the GC/GR budget and basic cost tracking. Support subcontractor coordination and documentation for TAM slips, change orders, and purchase logs. Safety & Quality Control Conduct required safety inspections and monitor compliance. Support the implementation of Quality Management Programs and Safety Initiatives. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in construction or related field.
  • OSHA 30 Certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Working knowledge of construction drawings and documentation processes.
  • Proficient with industry-standard software tools.
