Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in maintaining grounds, preferably in a cemetery
- 1+ years of experience in managing or leading maintenance workers
- Ability to fill any role in the grounds-keeping duties
- Maintain knowledge and adhere to OSHA law
- Professional communication and strong leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Assist the superintendent with the overall physical appearance and condition of cemetery grounds, funeral homes, mausoleums, crematories, buildings, roads, and walkways to which he/she is assigned
- Operate equipment in a safe and careful manner
- Ensure that all members of the caretaker team observe Federal (OSHA), state, and local safety requirements for themselves and visitors to the cemetery
- Able to fill any role required in the groundskeeping/facilities maintenance function
