Overall responsibility for the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of the district-wide instructional curriculum, assessment, and instructed improvement programs. Responsibility for aligning curricula to standards, student assessments and district goals in order to create the conditions for the highest achievement possible for all students. The Administrator leads district evaluation and facilitates the development and ongoing monitoring of the district’s strategic plan. The role serves as Federal Grant Coordinator, overseeing grant writing, submission, budgeting, reporting, and compliance with all applicable regulations. The Administrator acts as the liaison between RIDE, coordinating the implementation of state level initiatives and collaborating with district and school leaders to ensure grant-funded programs are aligned with district goals and priorities. Also, responsible to assist the Superintendent on a complete range of administrative responsibilities as needed. In addition, the office of the Assistant Superintendent will also serve as the District Title IX Coordinator.
