About The Position
Under the direction of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services/CBO provides administrative direction to all major Business Services Departments including Fiscal Services, Payroll, Facilities, Maintenance and Operations, Nutrition Services, Transportation, Risk Management and Benefits, Warehouse, Reprographics, and Safety and Security. The Assistant Superintendent of Business Services is the executive responsible for the direction of the financial activities of Newark Unified School District. Assists the Superintendent with all related administrative duties as assigned.
