Qualifications: Education: B.S. in Engineering, Leadership/Supervision, Management or related field, or 10 or more years of supervisory experience in superalloy production with a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 5 years of manufacturing, or management/leadership experience Areas of Knowledge: Hot working/rolling of metals, Metallurgy/metals manufacturing, Labor Relations, Safety, Health and Environmental, Six Sigma/Green Belt Training (preferred), 5S (preferred). Skills: Organizational, Written and Oral Communications, Basic Computer skills, Problem Solving/Troubleshooting and Interpersonal Relationships Role Responsibilities: Safety and Environmental - Effectively communicate and establish requirements to ensure understanding and compliance among direct reports regarding all corporate/departmental safety and environmental policies, so that all meetings, inspections, evaluations and observations are being performed properly and in a timely manner. Quality - Effectively communicate and establish requirements to ensure understanding and compliance to applicable policies, procedures, QCI's and SOP's by all supervisors and hourly personnel in the 4-HI Department. Productivity - Effectively communicate and lead the efforts to make production goals and lead the effort to continuously improve the efficiency of all 4-HI work centers. Evaluate supervisor performance in the utilization of equipment, manpower and overtime. Take accountability for equipment condition to ensure the ability to meet and exceed all production goals. Cost/Stewardship - Effectively communicate and contribute to corporate goals. Work with General Manager South to evaluate and implement yearly budgets and put long term plans in place to meet corporate objectives Leadership - Be a leader of the employee and hold supervisors accountable.
