ORANGETHEORY FITNESS H STREET DC -- Boutique Fitness Assistant Studio Manager Washington, DC Full-time, Commissions, Bonus, Benefits (Free Classes, OTF Gear) OTF H Street Assistant Studio Manager Total Targeted Compensation: $50,000 - $63,000 annually Location: 609 H St. NE Washington DC 20002 THIS IS A FULL-TIME POSITION, MINIMUM 40-50 HOURS PER WEEK, ALSO MUST BE AVAILABLE TO BE ON-CALL This position truly only works if this is your only professional commitment. Position Summary: An Orangetheory Fitness Assistant Studio Manager is responsible for managing studio operations and activities and works with his/her Studio Manager to develop and build the member community at the studio. As an Assistant Studio Manager you will be responsible for providing leadership and daily direction to the sales and group personal training teams in our facility. As the lead for the sales function, the ASM must execute a lead generation / marketing plan to increase fitness program sales as well as promote the health and wellness benefits that are associated with a healthy lifestyle. This leader must possess a high caliber approach to coaching and team development. The Assistant Studio Manager will represent the company by living an active and healthy lifestyle and is responsible for the smooth running of his/her studio. Mandatory RETAIL HOSPITALITY or HEALTH + FITNESS MANAGEMENT and SALES experience, including PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT experience. Part of the job requirements is meeting or exceeding monthly sales and revenue goals.

Requirements

Degree from an accredited, four-year college or university.
Ability to command the respect of his/her team / strong leadership skills.
Inherently pro-active and resourceful.
Well-spoken and charismatic / ability to handle conflict / manage people.
Professional appearance both physical and on social media.
Ability to be detail-oriented and multitask with problem solving skills.
Prior fitness studio management experience desired.
Prior experience managing teams, coordinating schedules, top notch customer service and driving sales is mandatory.
Able to work a non-traditional schedule, flexible work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed.
Ability to take 1‐2 OTF classes per week to effectively describe the workout to prospective clients and observe the quality of customer experience at the studio.

Nice To Haves

Experience using MindBody, Google Docs, Microsoft Office, WhenIWork is a plus.
Living close to the studio location is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Hiring staff and developing the front desk team of Sales Associates.
Provide high-level of customer service and exceptional hospitality to OTF patrons, handling member issues and concerns in a positive and timely manner.
Maintain OTF brand’s distinct culture and community.
Implement and enforce standard operating policies and procedures designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
Assist in managing the studio budget, supply ordering, and staff scheduling.
The ASM will be responsible for training hired staff members to enable them to independently carry out their duties. The ASM must get well versed in OTF methods and procedures, prior experience with the online CRM program MINDBODY and WhenIWork is preferred.
Ensure that all front desk systems are followed such as; proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries and Prospecting (general and sales related), Guest Registration, delinquent account procedures, customer care calls, change requests and document scanning.
Provide effective decision-making regarding customer service issues.
Plan and promote special events for the studio on a monthly basis, using OTF tools for effective outreach and community involvement.
Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound.
The ASM must stay on top of the staff schedule daily and make sure that every shift is covered by the team or him/herself.
Lead generation, new client visits bookings, sales closing percentage, revenue, membership growth, attrition, and customer satisfaction score are some of the categories your performance will be measured on.
