About The Position

SoulCycle is seeking an Assistant Studio Manager who will contribute to the company growth by expertly and efficiently managing their studio and leading their studio team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle culture and brand. This person will be interpersonally savvy with strong organizational abilities, a customer focus and will be able to creatively problem solve and learn on the fly. This person embodies integrity, confidence, is a role model, is bold, and is responsible for the success and health of the studio's daily operations. The Assistant Studio Manager will foster the SoulCycle Community and Culture in the studio, setting a positive atmosphere that encourages the studio team to thrive. Building and fostering relationships with instructors and the local community is essential, as is proactively identifying and addressing conflicts within the studio. The role requires acknowledging the studio team's wins and showing gratitude, while also being open to and managing change within the studio and the team. In terms of customer focus, the Assistant Studio Manager will provide immediate support to the team to ensure that all rider requests are addressed. They will act as a hospitality champion, providing exceptional service to riders and staff, and inspiring the team to uphold high hospitality standards and core values. The ability to manage conflict in high-pressure situations and develop meaningful relationships with riders is crucial. The role also involves process management, where the Assistant Studio Manager must be an expert on studio-specific and company-wide operational procedures and policies. They will need to seamlessly transition the team and studio to new ways of working and processes, develop and maintain schedules, and demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset to execute within company standards in any situation. Organizing and planning are key components of this position. The Assistant Studio Manager will set priorities to ensure all deadlines are met, develop checklists and operational schedules, and be future-oriented with a strong ability to plan for projects. They will support the Studio Manager in developing business plans to reach and exceed ridership and retail goals, ensuring that all company-wide initiatives are executed in the studio, and developing a holistic retail sales plan that encompasses the studio's retail goals.
